Scott of Pearland, Texas; his aunt Doris Scott of Anderson; his siblings, John Rainey and Helen Rainey-Cowans; his mother Bessie Scott-Rainey; his grandparents, Ezekiel, Jessie Smith-Scott, McGowan and Gola Rainey; and his great-nephew Jerry M. Mattison. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
