He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Arendas and Helen Arendas. He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his sister Irene; his daughters, Christine and Sarah; and his grandsons, Drew and Austin.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
