She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim E. Brogden and Ruth Benefield; and her sister Linda Ruth Brogden. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Housley of Kilgore; her children, Kimberly Smotherman (Chad) of Tyler and Jim Housley (Kim) of Lufkin; and her grandchildren, Reed Housley (Emily), Kaelyn Thrift (Benjamin), James Housley and Ruth Housley. She is also survived by her family and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great grandmother.
