We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 86, Louis Aaron Bruney of Kilgore, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Louis Bruney and Ida Mae Aaron of Kilgore, Texas.; his extended family, Richard A. Bruney, Darcy W. Cureton, Maury J. Cureton and Kristy M. Cureton; his wife Eleanor; his son Richard; his stepson Darcy; and his granddaughter Rikki. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

“Kristy Cureton Mosier, I am deeply sorry for your loss of Lou Lou. For those who do not know, Kristy and I called Louis," Lou Lou", through all of our childhood years. I am almost 55 years old and I first met Lou Lou when I was only about 7 years old. He was gone a lot working in Mexico so when he was home he always made time to do some fun things with Kristy, I was always right there by Kristy side. Lou Lou treated me just like one of his own. He was a great stepdad and man, Love you Lou Lou!”
