He was predeceased by: his parents, Bland Bolding and Iva Bolding; his grandfather Lloyd; his siblings, Imogene, Maxine, Floyd and Junior; and his brother-in-law Chub Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Stout; his sons, Bo (Beth) of Longview and Jeff (Tami) of Kilgore; his grandchildren, Blaine of Longview, Brandon of Longview, Brooke of Longview, Brady (Kameron) of Longview, Josh of Kilgore, Jake of Kilgore and Jack Lloyd of San Marcos; his great grandchildren, Rylie, Addison, Camden, Drue, Boston and Atlas; his brother-in-law H. B. Evans of Billings Oklahoma; and his caregiver Lloyd.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (501 E North St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Danville Cemetery (200 Memorial St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
In serving the American Cancer Society, he, along with Chub Boyd and Bobby Stroope, started the Small Fry Fishing Tournament held annually at Danville Farm. Lloyd's years of dedicated service and leadership did not go unnoticed; he received numerous awards that honored his contributions to the community.
