Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Herrington Merritt of Kilgore, Texas, who passed away at the age of 72, on August 21, 2022. She was predeceased by: her former husband Tommy Merritt; and her parents, Olan McKinley and Betty Jo Hamilton Herrington. She is survived by: her husband Hon; her child Hon; and her grandchildren, McKinley Merritt Smith, Thomas C. Merritt III (Tripp) and Marlo Merritt.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to the Janet Herrington Merritt Rangerette Scholarship, at Kilgore College.
