He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Faust (Skeet); his sons, Bruce (Patti Cunyus), Stuart (Ingrid Cunyus) and John (Rocio Cunyus); his grandchildren, Micki Whitacre (Jeff), Callie Jo Lasater (Tommy), Zach Cunyus, Martha Higgins (Tylor), Grace Cunyus (Emily), Catie and David Cunyus; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Cason Whitacre, Lily and Robbie Lasater; and his nieces, Lauren Cunyus, Karla Cristi and Kim Link.
He was also a board director on the Thai Christian Foundation.
