It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floe Etta Pugh Hopson of Kilgore, Texas, born in Henderson, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harvey Odom Sr. and Mary Melisa Odom (Brightwell); her brothers, William Odom Jr. and Forrest Odom; and her son-in-law Stefan Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Minturn (Bill) of Sugar Land, Lynn McDonald of Henderson and Teri Smith of Henderson; her sister Elizabeth Odom Hall of Henderson; and her grandchildren, Bridget Harms, Chase McDonald (Jackie), Jacob Smith, Naomi Kent (Zak) and Noelle Minturn. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
