She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Thurman Phipps and Mary Emma English; her husband James Arthur "Bill" Watson; and her son Bart Watson. She is survived by: her daughter Gayla Watson Sellers (Kevin) of Richardson, Texas; her grandchildren, Bryan Sellers of Kilgore, Laura Sellers Pace (Calen) of Richardson, Texas, Jared Sellers (Caitlin) of Richardson, Texas, Elizabeth Watson Thoma of Houston, Texas and Maggie Jo Watson (Zach Looker-Vodak) of Minneapolis, MN.; her great grandchildren, Porter Pace, Campbell Pace, Micah Pace, Lincoln Pace, Amelia Sellers, Hadley Watson, Charlie Watson and Ryan Vodak; her niece Annette Harris; her nephews, A. J. Phipps, Joe Dean Phipps and David Phipps; and her caregivers, Tina Rainwater, Allie McNeil and Elvira Chavez.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kilgore Bible Church (3810 County Line Rd, Kilgore, TX 75662).
