He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Riley Cecil Carpenter and Lois Nadine Johns Carpenter; his wife Marlene Climer Carpenter; his daughter Jill Lestage (Todd); his grandson Noah Carpenter (Maria); his great grandchildren, Blake Carpenter, Isaiah Carpenter and Grayson Carpenter; his sisters-in-law, Susan Green (Bud) and Ellen Carpenter; his son Chris Carpenter; his brothers, Jackie Don Carpenter and Junior Mullican; and his brother-in-law Jimmie Climer (Donna). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.
