It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Rhodes of Kilgore, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Stroud and Walter Stroud (Bud); her husband Billy Rhodes; her siblings, Guy Stroud and Vicki McGraw; her great grandchild Rylan Oney; her mother-in-law Irma Finchem; and her brothers-in-law, Shelton Simpson, Leo Duck and Bobby Rhodes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Rhodes of Hallsville and Suzette Worley of Garland; her grandchildren, Kyle Oney of Hallsville, Maknzy Billingslea (Joe) of Hallsville, Sarah Friesen of Austin, Micah Friesen of Kilgore, Phillip Friesen of Boston and Adam Friesen (Kirsten) of Mesquite; her great grandchildren, Tatum Oney, Dax Oney, Anderson Billingslea, Addie Kate Billingslea and Annsley Billingslea; her siblings, Wanda Simpson and James Stroud (Tamara); and her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Stroud, Martha Duck and Beverly Wieber. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
