We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2024, at the age of 75, Albert George Wood Jr. of Kilgore, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann Nash Wood; his parents, George Sr. Wood and Lillie Wood; and his siblings, Louise Powell, Adele VanMeter, Eddie "Bud" Wood and James "Jim" Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Missy Lewis of Kilgore, Angela Morris of Gilmer, Charlotte Contreras of Tyler and Sherry Tipton of Longview; his grandchildren, Amber Culpepper, Adam Culpepper, Justin Culpepper, Noah Tipton, Owen Tipton, CJ Whatley, Morgan Whatley, Maggie Morris, Emily Morris and Mason Morris; his great grandchildren, Ethan Culpepper, Jace Whatley and Loretta Whatley; his nephew Lester; and his niece Tammy Fletcher of Kilgore.
