He was predeceased by: his wife Allie Beakley Henderson; his daughter Treva Henderson; his great grandchild Grit Smith; his parents, William Irvin Henderson and Rose Ellen Merritt Henderson; his grandparents, John Levi Henderson, Mattie Lee Henderson, Robert Merritt and Susan New Merritt; and his aunts and uncles, James Howard (Jack), Clyde, Jasper, Temple, Welton Henderson, Randolph, Lloyd Merritt, Evedee Davis, Hattie Sagebeil, Lottie Conn, Amy Menges, Ettie Wedekind and Virgie Bass.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Henderson Kahlig (Clarence Kahlig) and Twila Henderson; his brother William Irvin Henderson (Gwen Henderson); his grandchildren, Lyndsey Smith (Koy), Justin McCelvey, Landon McCelvey (Briana), Bryce Woolls, Brittany Woolls, Brianne Waldrop (Travis), Tyler Fry and Kylie Fry; and his great grandchildren, Courtney Woolls, Colton Wakeley, Aiden, Rhody, Walker, Greeley Smith, Ryder, Logan, Molly McCelvey, Everly, Adalyn and Hallie McCelvey.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grimes Funeral Chapels.
