He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Evatt and Myrtle Evatt. He is survived by: his wife Annette Sherman Evatt; his son James; his daughter-in-law Shelly Evatt of Kerrville, Texas; his daughter Sheri; his son-in-law Larry Garrett of Nashville, Tennessee; his brother Clyde; his sister-in-law Ann Evatt of Rosenburg, Texas; and his grandchildren, Meaghann Dietz, Wesley Evatt, Tiffanie Evatt, Seth Easton, Sarah Garrett and Cheyanne Magee. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes instead of flowers that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or your local hospice organization.
