He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William West and Leah Reed West; his brother Tim West; his son William Ripley; his wife Francha Davenport; his daughter Rosalee (George); his grandsons, Quinn and Luke; and his daughter-in-law Brandi.

“So very sorry to hear of Reed’s passing. We grew up in the same church in McKinney’s First Presbyterian Church and were in Sunday school as adults at Lovers Lane Methodist Dallas. Sending blessings and sympathy to his wife and family. Reed and brother Tim were always cheerful and friendly and let us younger kids join in activities. God bless!”
