She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred R. Smoot and Lillie Belle Pilkington Smoot; her husband Melvin; and her great grandchild Adrienne Wilmes. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Jordan (Judith) of McKinney and Michael Jordan (Leslie) of Harper; and her grandchildren, April (Travis Wilmes) of Silver City, NM, Jennifer Jordan of Austin, Amber Milo of Truth, Kristin (A. J. Vega) of El, Dana (Jason Elrod) of Pendleton, OR, Ashley Jordan of Phoenix, AZ, Cloe Ikemeier of Phoenix, AZ and Matthew Jordan of Puyallup, WA. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kerrville Funeral Home (1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
