We bid farewell to Martha Kies in Kerrville, Texas, born in Anderson, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Martha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James and Harriett Osborne Macredie; her former husband Bill Blakeley; her husband Buddy Kies; and her brother Jim Macredie.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Blakeley and Brenda Blakeley; her stepdaughter Kathy Kies Tautenhahn; and her grandchildren, Shelby Yates, Andrew Tautenhahn and Taylor Tautenhahn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grimes Funeral Chapels. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Martha's giving spirit.
