He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Lee" Lewis and Ann Lizzy Sharp Lewis; his daughters, Cynthia Lewis and Kathy Dutcher; and his wife Helen "Kay" Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth E. Lewis of Waco, Texas, Debbie Bowen of Waco, Patty Chick of Waurika, Susan Liley of Schertz and Phyllis Trammell of Center Point, Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
