He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Karl F. Hagemeier Jr. and Dottie Tillis Hagemeier; his wife Jo Ann; his daughters, Kelly, Mattie (Jeff) and Elsa; his grandchildren, James and Lena; his sister Jeannie (John); and his nieces and nephews, Emily, Charlotte, Graham and Harley.
