In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brantley and Nora Brantley; and his siblings, William and Onie Pelley. He is survived by: his wife Maxine; and his children, Hersel (France), Sharon (Michael Keith) and Janet (Mark Nelson). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grimes Funeral Chapels (728 Jefferson St, Kerrville, TX 78028). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Memories Cemetery (3250 Fredericksburg Rd, Kerrville, TX 78028).
