It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert McGee of Kerrville, Texas, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. McGee and Jean L. McGee (McLaughlin); his stepmother Mary K. McGee (Brown); and his son Kevin McGee of East Moline, Illinois.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Houlihan; his son Brian McGee of Quincy, Illinois; and his sisters, Linda McClay of Galesburg and Patti Patton of Washington, Illinois.
