He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine Stengel (Rode); his grandparents, Arnold, Carrie Rode (Geistweidt) of Doss, Fritz and Augusta Stengel (Jenkins) of Mason; and his aunt Alice Mae Aaron (Marvin).
He is survived by: his father Karl Stengel (Ingrid) of Fredericksburg; his brother Stephen Stengel (Lisa) of Doss; his niece Kasey Burton (Jeffrey); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Audrey of Moyock and Reagan of Moyock; his nephew Chase Stengel of Harper; his aunt Kay Wellbaum (Stengel) of Woodway; his uncle Kris Stengel (Trisha) of Humble; and his friend Kay Neffendorf-Petsch.
