He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Jones and Billy B. Jones; his sister Lisa; his granddaughters, Ava and Chloe Jones; and his grandparents, Charles, Rosemary Davis, Roy and Cleo Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Terri; his sons, Cody of Kerrville, TX and Dustin; his grandsons, Taylor and Ryder; his brother Brad (Janet Jones); and his sister-in-law Sherri (Buddy Reynolds). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
