Claudia Wetzel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2023, at the age of 88, Claudia Wetzel of Kerrville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Boening, and Olga Boening, Jr. (Kruse); her stepmother Ruby Boening; and her sister Betty Lou Faktor. She is survived by: her former spouse Elo Ahrens; her husband Wilbur "Bill" Wetzel; her sons, Jerry Ahrens (Janice), Dennis Ahrens (Susan) and Steven Ahrens (GiGi Gastel); her grandchildren, Allison Ahrens (Cameron Nobile), Michelle Chaiken (Patrick), Marshall Ahrens, Mitchell Ahrens, Banks Burrows, Alexis Burrows and Brooks Burrows; her great grandchildren, William and Wyatt Chaiken; and her siblings, Dorothy Horan, Rudell Boening, Douglas Boening and Larry Boening. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
