He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Scarbro and Evaline Scarbro; his wife Freda Hudnall; his son Darius; and his close friend Virgina Turner.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Scarbro (Robin) of Houston and Lester Scarbro (Francis) of Comfort; and his grandchildren, Matthew Scarbro (Amy) of Houston, Calista Petty (Wes) of Comfort, Jay Scarbro (Peggy) of Terrell, Clifton Bernhardt (Rachel) of Columbus, OH and Jonathan Bernhardt of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
