He was predeceased by: his parents, Paz Mendoza and Hilaria Mendoza; and his sister Rosa Gonzales. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Sanchez; his daughters, Jennifer Mendoza-Conyers (James) of Pasadena, MD and Catherine Mendoza of Dallas, TX; his sisters, Sylvia Mendoza of Kerrville, TX and Mariana Mendoza of Corpus Christi, TX; and his grandchildren, Julia Marie and Owen James Conyers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
