He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Lutz and June Jacoby Lutz; and his border collies, Bojo and Laci. He is survived by: his wife Laura Bowers Lutz; his children, Alison Lutz Waldon (Mason Waldon), Meredith Lutz Newman (Collin Newman) and Cole Jacoby Lutz; his siblings, Peter A. Lutz (Callie Lutz), Tamara J. Hibler (Amzy Hibler) and Laurie M. Harris (Robert "Bob" Harris); and his father-in-law Robert "Bob" Bowers. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization of your choice.
