He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis C. Minatrea and Hepzibak Minatrea (Brill); his wife Winnie Howell; his daughter Neresa Beth Minatrea; and his sisters, Emma Lee Cryer, Ester Lou Williams, Nell Nugent and Betsy Ruth Tims.
He is survived by: his pet Trooper; his son-in-law Doug; his brother Charles Newman; his niece Trixi McManus; and also Ben. He is also survived by 3 nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
