She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chappell and Nettie Chappell; her husband Jimmy Phillips; and her siblings, Martha Nell Mitchell and Dwight Chappell.

She is survived by: her children, James Michael Phillips (Mary), Donna Phillips Darden (Steve), Mark Phillips (Staci) and Cheryl Phillips Alkire (Jack); her grandchildren, Shelley Cartlidge, Amber Davis, Brooke Strasser, Caleb Phillips and Emily Alkire; and her great grandchild Kayleigh Hilthon.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to FBC Kerens or your choice of animal welfare programs.
