He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Mantey and Lydia Mantey (Haarmeyer); and his son Jason Mantey. He is survived by: his wife Joan Mantey (Meissner); his children, Steven Mantey (Tina Yaple) and Amy Porter (Sherman); his grandsons, Samuel Porter and Nicolas Porter; and his pet Suggie.
