He was predeceased by: his siblings, J. B. Jr. and Jenice; his children, Charles "JC" Jones, Anthony "Tony" Arnold, Sr., Eugene "Skeeter" Barkley and Elezer Marie "Lisa" Jones; his daughter-in-law Janice "Cookie" Arnold; and his grandson Duane Barkley, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Joann Arnold; and his children, Walter "Skip" Arnold Jr. (Cheryl), Barry Arnold, Pamela Stevens-Baker, Duane Barkley (Brenda), Stanley Arnold (Joyce) and Rebecca Arnold. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nephews, nieces.
