He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Rickard and Ethel Rickard (Clayton); and his sister Teresa. He is survived by: his wife Myra Winters of Fort Worth; his children, Wendy Thacker (John) of Arlington, Jason Rickard of Fort Worth and Clay Rickard (Robin); his siblings, David Rickard (Mary) and Joyce Hatch (Denise Edington); his grandchildren, Jon Blake Thacker (Andrea), Ke Thacker, Ian Rickard, Iris Rickard, Zane Rickard and Violet Rickard; and his great grandchildren, Lauren and Lucas Thacker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
