He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald B. Pierce Sr. and Gwendolyn F. Pierce; and his grandparents, Sam Hidler, Etta Hidler and John B. Pierce.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Pierce; his daughters, Brendie Adair (Michael) and Monica Grubbs (Clayton); his siblings, John Pierce (Sheila), Sam Pierce (Amy), Jeff Cavender, Ronna Johnston and Peggy Fodness; and his grandchildren, Logan Adair, Brianna Adair and Lillian Grubbs (Anderson Grubbs).
