He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Tobe" Wesley Sr. and Elua Beatrice Stafford (Wingo); his wife Patsy; his sisters, Ruby Pruitt, Oleta Harkcom, Helen Whitten and Faye Williams; his son-in-law Jeff Thomas; and his granddaughter Bianca Carrington.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Carpenter (Don) of Fort Worth, Joy Lee Gray (Keith) of Haslet and Ray Stafford, Jr. (Christine) of Kennedale; his brother Willis Wesley "Sonny" Stafford, Jr. (Wilma) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Jarad Thomas (Brandie), Julie McCaslin (Mike), Jessica Watson (Robert), William Carpenter (Cassie), Crystal Wise (Jay), Homer Sendejas (Pam), Amanda Sendejas, Austin Carrington, Olivia Trammell (Jace), Lili Stafford, Rachel Stafford and Katelynn Stafford; his great grandchildren, Kelsie Thomas (Kyle), Clayton Thomas, Abigail McCaslin, Zooey Watson, Quinn Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter, Charlie Wise, Birdie Wise, Sean Sendejas, Bruce Sendejas, Luca Sendejas, Hollis Carrington and Joelle Trammell; and his great great grandchildren, Ava Richardson, Addison Eisenmann, River Eisenmann, Walker Eisenmann and Logan Ray Eisenmann.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060).
