She was predeceased by: her parents, Melville Edmunds and Sally Edmunds (Vassar); her husband Tommie Lowery; her sister Leona Stewart; and her grandchildren, Bill Minnis, Hardee Minnis Jr., Conni Miller and Shelley Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Hardee Minnis (Sharon) of Burelson, Eddie Minnis (Dana) of Arlington, Tommie Lowery (Vickie) of Mansfield, Texas, Diane Verde (John) of Weatherford and Sallie Watson (George) of Alvarado. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren.
