He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Roberto and Albina Carrillo; his brother-in-law Fernando Solis; his uncle Osvaldo Barraza; and his cousin Armando Barraza.
He is survived by: his wife Maria (Liz) of Arlington, Texas; his daughters, Amber Barraza, Debbie McCurdy (Steven), Catalina Ybarra (Marcus) of Arlington and Melissa Droddy (Charles) of Haughton, Louisiana; his brothers, Raul Barraza of Arlington and Gustavo Barraza of Sacramento, California.; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Danielle Droddy, Ayden, Brianna Ybarra and Winter Marie McCurdy.
