It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edmundo Omar Hernandez Sr. of Kennedale, Texas, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro A. Hernandez and Esther Flores Hernandez; and his sister Elia Omega Hernandez. He is survived by: his son Omar Jr. During (Julie); his wife Emilia Jasso of New Mexico; his daughter Monica Tibball (Ryan); and his sister Ruth H. Diaz (Josue Hernandez). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In honor of Omar's memory, we would like any donations to be sent to the Texas Baptist Men's organization or the Gideons International organization as he was involved in spreading the word of Christ.
