As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Connie Kay may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Graydon Busbee and Mabel Louise Shippey; and her husband N. R. Waters, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Wanda Forrester; her daughter Rhonda; her son-in-law Richard; her grandchildren, Keaton and Kayla; and her great grandchild Kingston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Wesley Sunday School Class at First Methodist Mansfield or Operation Kindness, where she rescued her lovable fur baby, Scamp.
