He is survived by: his wife Velma Richard; his sons, Gary Richard (Tiffany), Herschel Richard (Brandi) and Courtney Richard (Marcia); his grandchildren, Sherae Thompson (Kevin), Gary Richard, Jr. (Misty), Tielar Richard, Bailey Richard, Brooklynn Richard and Halle Richard; and his goddaughters, Patricia, Sarah Howard and Veronica Wilburn.
