He is survived by: his children, Glenda Murders Jones (Floyd) of Brazoria and Michael Murders (Leslie) of Angleton; his stepsons, Bob Moreland (Joy) of Crockett, Lawrence Moreland of Crockett and Stephen Mead of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Brittany Villegas (Marcus), Kaleb Jones (Karah), Ryan Murders and Keeton Jones; his great grandchildren, Shelby Villegas and Kali Jones; his brothers, Carl Murders (Becky) of Houston and Gerald Murders (Debbie) of Hilltop Lakes; his sister-in-law Patricia Murders of Woodville; his sisters, Betty Barns of Longview, Doria Raup of Longview and Shirley Murders of Longview; and his former wives, Sandra Sorters Cowan and Lynette Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family & friends.
