Childs of Kennard, Texas, born in Crockett, Texas, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvanus George Childs and Leela Lucille Pool Childs; his brother Glayse Childs; his sister-in-law Ruth Childs; and his nephew George Michael Childs.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Childs of Kennard; and his grandchildren, James Allen Pickens, Wyatt Glazier (Shelby), Maddisen Glazier, Jordan Miller, Sarah Alfred, Caleb Anderson, Hannah Alfred, Caleb Alfred and Morgan Harris. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
