She was predeceased by: her parents, Hill Franklin Goodson and Dollie Ethel Smitherman Goodson; her husband Ronald Sherwin Straubing; and her siblings, G. A., O'Neil Goodson, Japaline Sampsel and Linnie Graham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Lyn Evans (Paul) of Rowlett and Donna Lee Griffin (Jerry) of Mesquite, Texas; her grandchildren, Lindsay Elise Evans (Joseph Smith), Chelsea Lyn Lindsey (Derek), Justin Wayne Griffin (Kelly) and Jenna Lee Griffin (Bryan Garcia); and her siblings-in-law, Eunice Conner of Kennard, Mertis Goodson of Lufkin, Anna Goodson of Kennard, Nancy Prestidge of Spring, Texas and Edward Straubing of Siloam Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
