He was predeceased by: his parents, Reagan Mann Barclay and Ola Marie "Jim" Barclay; and his parents-in-law, Jesse Lee and Jimmie Troutman. He is survived by: his wife Nell Troutman Barclay of Kennard; his children, Jon Barclay (Sheila) of Kennard, Don Barclay of Kennard, Steve Barclay (Carla) of Kennard and Kay Lovell (Sam) of Kennard; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Creswell (Tristan), Ava Barclay, Aaron Barclay, James Barclay, Regan Barclay, Jesse Barclay, David Barclay, Taylor Wagner (Dax), Ross Lovell and Lacy Wright (John); his sister Ann English (Rex) of Kennard; his nephews, Tod English (Kelly) of Kennard and Chuck English of Kennard; and his niece Tami McCreight (Mike) of Crockett. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ivie Cemetery.
