He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dominy of Kennard, TX; his daughter Nelda Causey; his son-in-law John Causey of Blue Ridge, TX; his daughter Delta McGilvary of Blue Ridge, TX; his grandsons, James D. Brown of Blue Ridge, TX, Kevin Christian of Van Alstyne, TX and Levi McGilvary of Dallas, TX; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Ashleigh and Tiffany; his great great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jameson, Alexa and Leah; his siblings, Jacqueline Pyle of Lufkin and Charles Ray; and his sisters-in-law, Nell Dominy of Lufkin, TX, Deborah (Kenneth Lee) of Houston, TX and Sharon (Carl Owens) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
