He is survived by: his daughters, Diana and Basilia (Elmorris Foley, Jr.); his grandson Eduardo Villarreal Jr.; his wife Victoria Aguirre Arenas of Kenedy; his sister Aurora Galvan of Port Lavaca, Texas; his children, Debra Ann Cantu (Roberto), DiAnna (Alfredo Fuentes, Jr.) and Vicente Arenas Jr (Denver); and his grandson Eduardo Villarreal Jr (Jessica). He is also survived by 7 grand children and 22Great Grand Children and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
After becoming diagnosed with Parkinson's, Vicente asked his family to honor his wishes of dying at home. And that is where he lost his courageous battle with the disease with family at his side.
