He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Solis and Maria Guajardo Solis. He is survived by: his wife Manuela Rios Solis; his children, Santiago R. Solis Jr. (Cynthia) of Kenedy, Margarita "Margie" Morales (Gregorio Jr.) of Kenedy and Rebecca S. Diaz (Danny) of Kenedy; and his brother Domingo Solis of Kenedy. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
