Though Sam Peter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Jansky and Cecilia Jansky; and his sister Virgie M. Jarzombek. He is survived by: his wife Martha Salas of Kenedy; and his children, Karen Jansky of Poth, Sissy Portillo of Tye, Mary Ann Martinez of Ropesville, Margaret Salas of Irving, Sam P. Jansky, Jr. of Poth, Ignacio Salas of Kenedy, Jason Orlando Salas of Kenedy and Francisco Reyna Salas, Jr. of Kenedy. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Eckols Chapel (420 W Live Oak St, Kenedy, TX 78119). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (605 Karnes St, Kenedy, TX 78119).
