He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Marchant and Jennie Marchant; his siblings, Irene, Louise, Elizabeth, David, Nancy, Norma and Edith; his wife Patsy Chaney Marchant; his sons, Stephen (Patti) and Kevin (Jolene); his grandchildren, Garret (Kacie), Hailey, Austin, Josh and Ashley; and also, Trent and Kenedy.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eckols Funeral Home (420 W Live Oak St, Kenedy, TX 78119). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
