He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Salais and Paulita Ramos Salais; and his sisters, Evangelina Garza and Alicia Salais. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Salais (Patricia) of Kenedy, Joe Salais, Jr. (Grace) of Kenedy, Raul R. Salais (Eva) of Kenedy and Jesse R. Salais (Elisa) of Kenedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel (420 W Live Oak St, Kenedy, TX 78119). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (605 Karnes St, Kenedy, TX 78119).
