With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rene Reyes of Kenedy, Texas, born in Jourdanton, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Reyes and Olga Reyes (Sanchez); and his brother-in-law Eddie Tijerina. He is survived by: his sisters, Norma Tijerina (Rene) of Jourdanton, Belinda Tijerina of Jourdanton and Lisa Reyes of Jourdanton; his nieces and nephews, Cassandra Tijerina of Jourdanton, Briana Iglecias of Jourdanton, Abigail Iglecias of Jourdanton, Herlinda Tijerina of Jourdanton, Dakota Iglecias of Jourdanton, Jonathan Iglecias, Manuel Tijerina, Ventruce Turner of Jourdanton and Joseph Tijerina (Ashley Tijerina) of Pleasanton; his great-nephew Benjamin Tijerina of Jourdanton; his great-nieces, Leah Tijerina of Pleasanton and Amelia Tijerina of Jourdanton; and his uncle Santiago Reyes (Hope Reyes) of Brady. He is also survived by numerous cousins and family members.
